Para SENsory Dance
Under 19 years
Para SENsory Dance is our multi-sensory wheelchair dance session aimed at PMLD young people and their families, who are using wheelchairs or mobility equipment, but not exclusively.
Fully inclusive
We can help with inclusive communication devises & PECS symbols on request to assist with visual timetables or planning at home. Behavioural challenges are met with understanding and absolute support.
Enjoy movement
Using wheelchairs and mobility equipment, propelled or self-propelled, with or without help. Bring walkers, frames or mobility aids to move and dance around the hall.
Multi-sensory
In these multi-sensory dance sessions, everyone is included. Especially for children who enjoy popular music and lights as we move around the room.
Social time
Meet friends and make new ones. Relax and have fun! Social time for parents and carers. We can’t wait to meet you!
Wheelchair dance
Fully inclusive special educational needs and disabilities classes for children and young people. Aimed at PMLD young people and their families who are using wheelchairs or mobility equipment, but not exclusively. We use a variety of tactile props, we are sensory aware regarding music volume, lighting and overstimulation.
