Fully inclusive special educational needs & disabilities class for children aged 8-14 years. These exciting dance classes for all abilities, use popular music and simple routines to get everyone up and moving and most importantly having fun!
Popular music
. We love popular music and requests are taken from the children! We start by warming up our body, this is important including a pulse raiser, followed by a simple routine to a chosen song, group work and individual prop work using a variety of tactile and sensory equipment.
You are amazing
The class is inclusive, and adaptations will be made for everyone to be able to have fun. The children are the SENtre!
Relax and have fun
We always cool down and relax to our chill out music before heading home. Each child can join in at much or as little as they wish. Responsive teaching style led in a relaxed environment enabling the children to fully enjoy. Our approach builds confidence and lets the children just be themselves.
Sensory aware
We are sensory aware regarding music volume, lighting and overstimulation. We can help with inclusive communication devises & PECS symbols on request to assist with visual timetables or planning at home. Behavioural challenges are met with understanding and absolute support.
